This has to be one of the most wackiest cars to appear on the Daily news Dig, this crazy hot rod has been created by an automotive enthusiast from Moscow, Russia and it is completely covered in leather.
This unique car is currently for sale and according to the ad posted on Russia’s biggest classifieds website, Avito, the vehicle’s fiberglass body is covered in genuine Canadian bison leather, tanned and artistically etched by a master from the Middle East.
The car’s interior, including the dashboard, is also layered with brown bison leather and expensive natural furs. And as if this thing didn’t have way too much leather already, the inside of the hood, as well as the engine and several other parts are also encased in specially treated bison leather than can withstand high temperatures.
The seller, known only as “Rustam“, claims the engine and trunk compartment also feature Swarovski crystal inserts.
The ad doesn’t mention the car’s brand but lion logo on the front does hint at a Peugeot.
Powering this crazy hot rod is a 2.5-liter petrol engine with automatic transmission sending the power to the rear-wheels.
Rustam says the bison leather cover has a lifetime guarantee and can be cleaned just like any regular car. He claims the leather-wrapped hot rod is unique in the world, and looking at the photos, I tend to believe him.
He’s willing to part with this abomination for the “modest” sum of 40 million Russian rubles. That’s about $1,215,000, but he’s willing to negotiate.
