Star Wars Detours Trailer – New Animated Comedy Cartoon Series
A new Star Wars cartoon is due to start on Cartoon Network which pokes fun at the Sci-Fi saga. Watch the Star Wars Detours Trailer here.
This animated comedy explores what daily life is like in a galaxy far, far away but there will be no Empires striking back or attacking clones. Instead, Star Wars Detours focuses on the most popular characters from the saga and their everyday problems.
Detours is created by the same team behind Robot Chicken and features voices from Joel McHale, Donald Faison, Breckin Meyer, Seth McFarlane, and many more. Jennifer Hale, a.k.a. Shepard from Mass Effect, will also be showing up as a “bad ass female officer.”

While this looks to be just a bit of fun I can imagine many Star Wars fans being annoyed by the new cartoon series. I have even seen a few reaction videos on Youtube with fans going mental.
While it does seem to be a leap from the normal serious stories we are used to I will still probably watch the first few episodes to see if its any good.
I must admit I did find the trailer quite funny and loved it when Han Solo put on the Indiana Jones hat. If they carry on doing cool stuff like that then I am sure it will be a success.
