  1. #1 Would love to go there and just walk it until I couldn’t walk anymore. It would be so peaceful and therapeutic.

  2. My favorite will be the “when art meets nature” really awesome and all of the photos are great selections – I wonder how famous the photographers are who took the pictures.

  3. wonderful became the reason of a tear of happiness from my eye and also it prove that man is nothing in front of nature but inspite all this this all is made only for human being 🙂
    have a happy life 🙂

  4. 22 for sure! That would be amazing in person. Beautiful on the computer, but I’d love to actually be that girl in the pool just for the view of the mountains!

  5. #14 #24 #26
Live action shots are the hardest to capture because you may never in life get a second chance. Those are amazing.

  6. I like all but 20(SUNSET IN SANTORINI) and 29(BRUSSELS FLOWER CARPET) are best. Hats off to photographer. I don’t how they capture all these beautiful photos. I have seen many photographer during photo shot at Calamigos Ranch (Event venue at Malibu), they are just amazing and all photos capture by them are awesome.

  7. Sunset in Santorini beautiful, and The Coolest Duck Ever. Somehow the Sunrise at Easter Island reminds me of an emergency stop on  a stag do coach trip..

  8. BenGross  not shenanigans. I’ve seen many a duck raising her ducklings, and very often it is very high up, in holes, away from predators. When the mother deems they are ready to take to water, she simply jumps down, and so do the ducklings — sometimes from a hundred feet up!  They cannot fly, and simply fall, spread out, till they bounce off the ground. They are so light it never seems to hurt them, even when landing on concrete. There was a water tower behind our place which had ducks nesting in it year after year — and the ducklings always just jump off, over a hundred feet high, and land on the ground below and waddle off to the water after their mum. And here’s another bit of BBC evidence for you — http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkBSkFyUyv0   This lot are landing on leaves, but I’ve seen them landing on concrete, no problem.

  9. LMy favorite is No. 24 – First Flight because its their first experience in the outside world. Cannot do it again anyway.

  10. So MANY great ones, it’s hard to choose . . . loved the “first flight” shot, “When art meets Nature,” Contrast in Krakow, Mexico’s giant crystal cave, and Coolest Duck Ever – my top six.

  11. I call shenanigans on 24. First Flight. Those baby ducks are too small to fly, and ducks don’t raise their ducklings in birdhouses.
    Ben G

    1. They are baby wood ducks. They nest in trees (or a supplied nest) and when ready they leap out and fall to the ground. So, ‘first flight’ isn’t technically correct as they are just falling, but yes its a real photo

  12. No. 2, The stream of water frozen in mid air is the most amazing, but, it’s impossible to pick a favorite, they’re all so fantastic

  13. Number 29 I know for a fact was not shot in 2013. The Flower Carpet in Bruxelles only happens every other year, and the last one was in 2012; I was there. There was no Le Tapis de Fleurs (Flower Carpet) in 2013. Having said that,#29 was from 2010, I believe.
