A list of the world’s Top 50 Restaurants were released today and El Celler de Can Roca in Spain took the top spot as one of the world best restaurants 2013.
El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Spain, has stolen Noma’s crown after a three-year reign. Other notable developments: Eleven Madison Park is now the top-ranked restaurant in the United States, snagging the No. 5 spot. Per Se got bumped to No. 11 and Alinea’s now at No. 15.

France won 6 spots on the list with Spain having 5 and Italy 4. What’s surprising is that New York managed to win 4 spots, that’s pretty impressive considering it’s just one city. Does that mean New York alone has better restaurants than most countries?
