Do you like early mornings? Most people don’t but you can brighten up your day by following these 6 easy early morning tips and if you can get into the habit of them you may even start to like mornings.

1. Create A Positive Affirmation
It may sound a little silly but several studies have proven that having a positive affirmation can help combat stress and boost problem-solving skills. So when you wake up in the morning read your affirmation out loud and believe in it.
2. Spend A Few Minutes Meditating
Spending a few minutes in meditation can help reduce stress and anxiety for the day. But, if you are finding it difficult to find the time to relax and meditate then even a few breathing exercises while brushing your teeth can help.
Breathe in for five seconds, hold for five seconds, then release for five seconds.
3. Time yourself
Most people tend to underestimate how long things take. If you think it will take 10 minutes to have breakfast, chances are you’ll still be there 20 minutes later.
So time yourself and see how long your morning tasks take.
4. … Then Give Yourself An Extra 15 Minutes
Once you know how long it takes you to get going in the mornings give yourself an extra 15 minutes. So many people run out of time in the mornings and have to frantically rush around to finish getting ready. This raises the stress level for the day. Allow time for handling the unexpected.
You don’t have to sacrifice sleep to give you those extra morning minutes. Just go to bed that little bit earlier.
5. Listen To A Happy Song
While you are taking a morning shower, having breakfast or even a commute to work you should listen to cheerful music. It can help put you in a positive mood for the day.
Listening to songs that make you smile immediately puts you in a more cheerful frame of mind … which makes you more likely to smile at people … which sets off a chain reaction of positivity.
6. Pack The Night Before
While this one seems the most unappealing, getting prepared the night before can save you some of those precious minutes in the morning.
7. Stretch Or Exercise In The Mornings
A bit of exercising in the mornings can help improve energy and productivity for the day but if exercise is not your thing then even just a few stretches in the morning can get your positive energy flowing.
