With the release of L.A. Noire nearing Rockstar Games has released this new trailer giving gamers a taste of whats to come. The game is set in 1947 amid the post-war boom of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Players take on the role of an LAPD detective thrown headfirst into a city drowning in its own success. Corruption is rampant, the drug trade is exploding, and murder rates are at an all-time high.
L.A. Noire is a violent crime thriller that blends breathtaking action with true detective work to deliver an unprecedented interactive experience. Search for clues, chase down suspects and interrogate witnesses as you struggle to find the truth in a city where everyone has something to hide.
L.A. Noire is due for release on the 17th of May in North America and on the 20th in the rest of the world. Watch the trailer below but be warned there are scenes of strong language and violence.
After watching the L.A. Noire trailer I think the game looks quite promising, it will probably be a sort of Grand Theft Auto style game set in the 1940s but with the difference being that your on the side of the law instead of breaking it.
