Kristen Bell Signed On To Star In The Lifeguard
Kristen Bell has been signed up to star as the leading role in the upcoming indie drama titled The Lifeguard. Kristen will be replacing the formerly-attached Kate Bosworth in the role.
The Lifeguard focuses on a New York reporter who, upon hitting 30, decides to move back to her suburban hometown, returning to her former job as a local lifeguard. There, she finds herself starting a relationship with a teenager.
Liz W. Garcia is writing and directing the project, also set to star Mamie Gummer, Joshua Harto, Amy Madigan, Alex Shaffer and Martin Starr.
Production on The Lifeguard is set to begin later this month in Pittsburgh.
