The Fido To Go food truck is always out and about at the city’s dog parks, beaches, and special events. They also cater for doggy parties and even provide the cakes, games and activities!
Donna Santucci, founder and owner of Fido to go, has been in the pet industry for nearly a decade. A certified canine and feline groomer, Donna is a graduate of the Academy of Dog & Cat Grooming Arts.
Wanting to feed her own dog, Maddie, treats that were wholesome, gluten-free, and without any additives and sugars, Donna began developing a wide range of recipes that fit the bill. Maddie loved them! Soon, Donna was supplying treats and baking doggie cakes for the pets of family and friends.
With the increasing demand for Donna’s great-tasting collection of gluten and allergen-free dog treats and cakes, she considered opening a store which could combine her grooming business and her healthy, handmade pet treats.
Then one day in 2008, as she watched an ice cream truck stop at the beach and the kids lining up to get a treat, the concept for a mobile doggie treat food truck was born!
Each month Fido to go designates a featured treat, donating 10 percent of the proceeds to a charitable organization selected by Donna for that month.
