Advertising has been around since the time of the Egyptian empire in many formats. We might complain that in modern times advertising goes a little to far as manufactures try to force their products on us using what are sometimes classed as dubious techniques but when you look back at advertising from the 50’s and 60’s you will be shocked at what passed as reasonable and correct for that era.
