Spring is one of my favorite months, nature is coming back to life and flowers are blooming everywhere but do you know where the most magical places to visit are during this season?
1. Bonn, Germany

Europeans have embraced the Asian Cherry Blossom festival. Blooming sakuras make people happy in various European cities. In Bonn the blossoming trees create this incredible tunnel avenue. The locals and visitors take time to spend in the old town and admire the trees.

2. Columbia River Gorge, Pacific Northwest, USA

The canyon stretches for 130 km along the Columbia River and is stunning on its own. However, the changing seasons add an extra charm. In spring thousands of sunflowers in the unspoiled surroundings create a breathtaking landscape.

3. Tulip Festival, The Netherlands

The country that produces the most tulips in the world becomes covered in colorful striped fields of the blossoming flowers. The visitors can admire them not only in the parks, but also simply by traveling around the country and passing the tulip fields on their way.

The park is loved by the visitors all year round. In spring however thousands of tulips and narcissus fascinate the hikers. It is one of the most beautiful areas to have a nice walk, ride a bicycle or even have a BBQ party!

5. Palouse Region, Washington State, USA

The unexpected site in this list features the vast fields of wheat and rapeseed. It looks like those magnificent landscapes in Tuscany. The place becomes more and more popular among the photographers, who find the ever-changing lighting and colors of the valleys exciting to capture.

The view of Seryang Je Lake in spring is magical: the trees are blossoming in various colors and reflect in the clear water. Also the green tea fields here and around the country are beautiful to look at in spring.

7. Provence, France

The region is among the most popular ones in France. However, it gets quite hot and crowded in summer. Therefore it is a good idea to visit it in spring. The wonderful blossoming trees are found in Ménerbes, while lavender fields are scattered all around Provence.

Another undiscovered and our new favorite destination is found in the middle of Italy in the Apennines. Loved by the skiers in winter, Castelluccio gets covered in thousands of blooming colorful flowers in spring.

9. Cherry Blossom Festival, Japan

The most important spring celebration takes over the country from late March to middle of May. Sakuras begin to bloom in the south and then move northwards. Japanese gather to the parks to have picnics and parties under these beautiful trees.

Thousands of visitors come to the valley every spring to the tulip festival. Situated on the slopes of the Mount Baker, the valley turns into a picturesque landscape. Once the spring kicks in, the flowers start blossoming for two weeks straight.
