14 Hilarious Parodies Of The Christ Restoration Fail In Spain
We posted a story last week about an old woman who tried to restore a damaged church painting and failed. Well the 81 year-old has become famous with her master piece of Christ and the has picture gone viral. To make things even more comical some people have been making parodies of her work.
Amateur restorer Cecilia Giménez took it upon herself to restore the 19th Century Spanish Fresco ‘Ecce Homo’. As she painted away little did she know that her work would become a worldwide media sensation but not because of her amazing painting skills but instead because of the lack of them.
Funnily enough a group of over 20,000 people have signed a Change.org petition in an attempt to save the old lady’s restoration of Christ.
